I've stayed here before and I found the food service, (chef?) better than before. Well prepared meals.
The garage area was limited and a little hard to use because it is being repaired. I did, with some difficulty find a convenient handicapped space to.
It's the only game in town' when it comes to chain hotels. I trust it and would never stay anywhere else when in the area.

Staff were exceptional and polite, and the room was clean and comfortable.
Location was hard to find, and the parking garage was a mess with renovations!

I didn't like much about this hotel.
In disrepair.
After a long day of bike riding, it was disappointing to arrive and find a broken bathtub valve. The staff was very attentive and fixed it quickly, however.

My room was very quiet.
Old fashioned/dingy carpets and wall covering/paint in corridors.
I resented having to pay for parking in a town that has plenty of free on-street parking nearby, which I was too tired to investigate when I arrived late. The parking was immediately added when you went in to register without en-quiring if you had parked somewhere else. One o the desk clerks was not at all knowledgeable about the immediate area around the hotel. I am an author who was in town for a book-signing at the independent bookstore which was not even a block away and he had no knowledge of it. ...read more
